New energy business
Business might seem to be the last place to bring true spirituality, our expanding consciousness, but in fact it is just ripe for this and holds the key to really grounding higher consciousness into our embodied lives.
I talk about something I call New Energy Business and it is not quite what you may think. Bringing consciousness to work is not about bringing meditation or singing or incense into the office – it is about bringing YOU. These other things may follow as joyful choices, but consciousness is about you. Typically we use different and small parts of ourselves for different parts of life. There is an ‘employee’ or ‘entrepreneur’ self that goes to work and when it comes home it hands over to the ‘husband self’ or some other aspect of you. These aspects are human creations that do not draw upon our full consciousness but are limited creations designed for specific purposes.
Taking the whole and true YOU to work, whether it is your company or someone else’s, is a very different thing to do and it has cosmic implications. Cosmic for you because it’s a big change, and cosmic for everyone else because it is a powerful choice that sends ripples of transformation into the omniverse.
YOU, as we are coming to know, are divine as well as human, you are grand as well as small, you are a more magnificent and omnipotent creator than you dare let yourself know. As we embody more of our true and full selves, then it becomes increasingly impossible to hide in smaller human aspects. We outgrow them and squeezing back into their confines becomes too uncomfortable.
Can you be true to the new you at work, or are you compromising yourself?
Bringing new consciousness into business is not about new belief systems, it is simply about you being the true you.
It is discovering and expressing your own Authentic Creative Energy – bring that to work and whatever your work is will flourish with such dynamism and abundance. This is the same creative energy that forms worlds and planets. Can you be this bold?
It is doing your work 4 you not for someone else, not for the paycheck, not to impress your boss, it is doing it 4 you, for your own self-expression and joy. Imagine how this one change in attitude would effect your entire work experience. This single choice to make work your expression rather than an act of slavery or sleepwalking would have momentous and beautiful consequences.
True consciousness is not led by the mind, it is led by feeling and knowing, so business becomes highly intuitive and divinely intelligent. The mind and mental disciplines are used and honoured for their ability to implement. So this is business leadership through feeling and knowing – can you feel your way through business issues and decisions…?
It is recognising that a business is made up of many, many Creators. From the postman that delivers company letters to the CEO to the ink supplier for the printers to the customer that loves your product and to the planet that gives you such wonderful natural resources to play and craft and mould into your designs. All are creators, all are valued and respected and all employees hold this potential Creative energy that is not hierarchical but precious in every expression. How will you honour this? How will you maintain the structure that is necessary whilst valuing everyone that contributes to the business, that is touched by the business? How will you exchange energies with the planet so that you balance what she gives you?
New consciousness knows that true abundance flows not from mental calculations of demand and supply but from allowing the fullness of life to grow in your company. Creating an environment so rich on the inside that life on the outside can only reflect this with wealth of all kinds, including money. Look after the ‘heartline’ and the bottom-line takes care of itself.
Your mind would tell you, your are mad to do any of this. Yet the moment you do, people would stop and stare in amazement, in wonder, in admiration. True they could keep this to themselves, they might even bury it and appear hostile, but there is not a single person who does not recognise the truth, beauty and power of Authentic Being, and who does not secretly love to see others shine with it.
